Refleksi :
For the introduction set, the students feel so happy when they need to put their hand into the plastic bag to feel what is inside the plastic bag. I think that’s the way we can actually attract pupils’ attraction on what we are going to learn today. There is a pupil name Toh Yue Qing. She never talk to any of the teacher in our school. At the beginning, I thought it will be very hard for me to get her attention to my teaching, but when I took out the green beans, she participated in the guessing game. So, I think that’s a good set induction.
For step 2, I’ve made the number line with colour papers. As it is colourful, it easily gets pupils attention. So, pupils understand the concept of rounding off the number to the nearest ten.
For step 3, consolidation activity, I’ve divided pupils into 3 groups:-
a.     5 Questions
b.     12 Questions
c.      20 Questions
Toh Yue Qing
Lee Pei Chyi
Ngi Chin Enn
Woon Zhi Shen
Lau Wei Xian
Woon Shi Yen
The groups are divided according to the standard. And I found out that it really works as they all finished about at the same time.
